Open Question: how can i start my conclusion fix any mistakes if needed?
I wake each morning to the sun coming through my bedroom window. It seems strange that this is such a beautiful thing for me to notice. I am not usually one for little details, however, here lately, I have noticed everything about the day, and my neighborhood. Just opening the window in the morning brings joy to my soul. I can smell the trees and the flowering bushes as light wind blows them my way. As I head outside, I see the trees full of branches in the spring air. I can see the spring flowers blooming everywhere. I notice the neighbor’s front door decorated with a Philadelphia Phillies flag. It brings to mind the thought of Baseball season starting in a few weeks. Their house is a light cream, and it has plants hanging around on the front porch. Their dog meets me at the sidewalk and I rub his head as I continue down the street. As I walk down the street towards oceanfront, I looked up at the horizon and saw the city of Norfolk from miles away. Also looking on both side of the street I saw cars parked with parking meter counting down the time limit. As you look straight at the oceanfront you can see navy ships getting their surgical treatment by many skillful mechanics. The best part about the oceanfront is you can walk or jog on the sidewalk and hear the water and the sound of downtown Norfolk as well as the loud horn from passing by boats. Now going in the opposite direction where restaurants are stuffed on both side of the street with a remarkable theater and statues. A local sport museum is like newly released movie that grabs people attention like a magnet to a metal. Also noise in the neighborhood is usually mild except for the time navy ships are being repaired. While wandering around the neighborhood you can notice that everything that a person might need on a daily basis like a barber shop, convenient store with gas station, and many fast food restaurants are in walking distance which makes it easy to buy what they need without having to travel far and wasting gas.

Open Question: If the Philadelphia Phillies had Halladay, Lee, and Hamels on the same team, would it put them over 100 wins?

Heres what I propose even though it would NEVER happen….Expand the MLB to four divions in each league: AL EAST: Boston Red Sox, New York Yankees, Baltimore Orioles, Toronto Blue Jays AL SOUTH: Florida Marlins, Atlanta Braves, Tampa Bay Rays, (Domincan Republic) Santo Domingo Himnos AL CENTRAL: , Detroit Tigers, Chicago White Sox, Cleveland Indians, Cincinnati Reds AL WEST: Seattle Mariners, San Francisco Giants, Oakland Athletics, Las Vegas Rollers NL EAST: New York Mets, Philadelphia Phillies, Pittsburgh Pirates, Washington Nationals NL SOUTH: Texas Rangers, Houston Astros, Colorado Rockies, Kansas City Royals NL CENTRAL: Minnesota Twins, Milwaukee Bucks, Chicago Cubs, St. Louis Cardinals NL WEST: Los Angeles Angels, Los Angeles Dodgers, San Diego Padres, Arizona Diamondbacks I figured before Canada or Mexico got a new team, Dominican Republic should get a team cause it is VERY VERY popular there, and one of the most popular sports in that country. Vegas just seems to make the most sense IN the United States cause New Orleans doesnt have a large baseball fan base from what ive read and heard. But that would be the 2nd choice for inside the United States. THEN the playoffs would be the top two teams from every division seperated by the AL and NL. I know, itll NEVER happen, but whats your input?? In the D.R. you’d be surprised how many people would show up because of how huge it is in that country.

I just looked at the spring training stats for the Tigers and I didn’t see Brandon on it anywhere. Unless I completely overlooked him. Why hasn’t he been playing? He’s still on the roster. Is he hurt? Forgot about those damned knees of his. Thanks!

Resolved Question: Should there be a stat for quality saves?
There’s a difference between a guy coming in and shutting down the opposition (as Mariano Rivera usually does) and coming in with a 3 run lead, giving up a 2-run HR, walking the bases loaded, and finally falling into a game-ending DP (as is Fernando Rodney’s habit). Both go down in the book as saves, but there’s a chasm of difference between the two. I know some of you will say, In the end, he got the job done, didn’t he?, and while there’s some truth in that, we have numerous stats which break down the numbers into more than a simple Did he get the job done?. Quality Starts, Batting Average with Runners in Scoring Position, as well as something as fundamental as doubles, triples, and HRs as opposed to the more generic hits spring immediately to mind. Maybe I’m just more sensitive to this distinction because as a fan of the Detroit Tigers, I’m still aquiver from a decade’s worth of Todd Jones and Fernando Rodney.
