Open Question: What is the new owner of the Cubs going to get done first - improving the team or improving Wrigley Field?
Doing both will be very difficult. http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/news?slug=ap-cubs-rickettsprov=aptype=lgns
Open Question: How do you think that Mike and Mike will fill out Steve Philips’ old slot on their show?
This question is for viewers and listeners of ESPN Radio’s Mike and Mike in the Morning, but now that ESPN has confirmed that ESPN baseball analyst Steve Phillips, after he admitted to having an affair with 22 years old Brooke Hundley who works as a production assistant for ESPN. And I know that prior to that he was the General Manger for the New York Mets. And no question, his wife filed for divorce, long before the story was made public, you can read the story at http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=4594666 . But just what a way for him to throw away his carrier and his marriage. And will another team, or company, even ones that broadcast baseball, like FOX or TBS, will hire him to do the same job that he did at ESPN. And plus will get another woman to trust him another, to go with him, and be his girlfriend. So I would think that it will be safe, that he will no longer appear either in person, or on the phone, on Mike Mike in the Morning, or another ESPN Radio Show. And I know that when he would make his regular appearance on Mike Mike in the Morning, Mike Greenberg would call him the General Manger of our team, that is when he is on the show, when Steve Philips was on, but I would think that it is safe to say, that he will lose his regular spot on Mike Mike in the Morning, and any other of the ESPN Radio shows that he might make regular appearances on.
