Rally gives Dodgers their sixth straight win

MIAMI — The Dodgers rallied for two runs in the ninth inning to complete their sweep of the Florida Marlins today, taking a 5-3 victory at Dolphin Stadium that extended their winning streak to six games. via Los Angeles Times

Shaun Marcum matched Mark Buehrle pitch for pitch and Shannon Stewart drove in the only runs, helping the Toronto Blue Jays beat the White Sox 2-0 on Friday night for Chicago’s third straight defeat. Marcum (3-2) struck out nine and won for the first time in three starts, lowering his ERA to 2.70. He allowed just two hits, both singles by Orlando Cabrera, and walked three.
